Sequoia Works evolved from a successful Northern California contracting business specializing in designing and constructing Redwood decking. Previously known as “Natural Development”, the company won a National Spa & Pool Institute Gold Medal design award in 1981. Shortly thereafter Sequoia Works, Inc. was founded with the specific intention of developing both spa-mounted and freestanding enclosure packages that could be easily installed with the spa at a minimum of additional customer expense. In 1987 Sequoia Works was enlisted as an approved supplier of wood products for the “Hot Spring Spa” dealer network.
